From Den Helder to Texel
Bus line 33 runs between Station Den Helder and Veerhaven Den Helder. This will always bring you to the boat to Texel on time. You even have enough time at the Veerhaven to buy a ticket for the boat or drink a cup of coffee.
Ticket
You can buy a ticket for € 3,00 to travel from Station Den Helder to the Veerhaven. You can buy this ticket at:
- Hotel Wienerhof (pay with cash, bank or credit card)
- From the bus driver in line 33 (only bank or credit card)
You can also pay with your OV-chipcard (at a fixed rate).
The return trip from the Veerhaven to Den Helder station is included, so you do not have to pay again. The bus is waiting for you when you leave the boat on the right side.
Tip: buy your ticket at Station Den Helder
When travelling on Texel with a Texelhopper mini bus, it is advisable to buy a ticket at Hotel Wienerhof in Den Helder, Parallelweg 7. There are no tickets for sale in the port area, both in Den Helder and Texel.
Please note: You can buy the Week pass only at Hotel Wienerhof in Den Helder. You cannot buy this ticket on Texel.
